Confirmation Program

Classes begin at 7:00 p.m. - Students should arrive no later than 6:50 p.m. - Classes end at 8:30 p.m.

Thank you for enrolling your child in the St. Brendan Parish Teen's Faith Formation Program. You have chosen to share a wonderful gift with your child: the Roman Catholic Faith. We invite and encourage you to work with us in helping your teen to embrace their Catholic Faith as a way of life. As we work through another year, we wish to remind you of the importance of the Celebration of the Eucharist to our Faith. Your child must attend one of the Masses offered each week (5:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. on Sunday), and must have an attendance card signed by a parish representative. We encourage you to offer a good example and attend Mass as well. More importantly, please bring you child to Mass on those weeks when classes are not in session. In this way, your child will learn that the Celebration of the Eucharist is not just a part of our program, but a way of life for Catholics.

Please note that, due to the nature of the Confirmation preparation process, and the age and expected maturity of those students preparing for Confirmation, your child will be held to a high standard of behavior. 3 unexcused absences, constant tardiness, or constant misbehavior in class or on church property will necessitate a meeting with a student's parents, at which time it will be determined if the student will be obligated to repeat the year or be permanently removed from the program.
